Mask of Magnaminty and Mike Dignam

So today was one of my best friend's 20th birthdays so naturally we went to go see one of her favourite singers perform in a coffee shop.

Wait.

What?

This here ladies and gentlemen is Mike Dignam and he is my best friend. *cough* That's a lie, he is not my best friend but he is an insanely talented independent artist and you all should really check him out. Before today I knew of Mike but didn't know his music. In fact 2 years ago I could have seen him perform live in the street but didn't! So off I went early this morning to see Mike who is currently on a tour around various Caffe Nero's in the country. Quite a few of his songs actually spoke volumes to me. In particularly how hard it can be nowadays to watch the news just because of his dismal and bleak it can be. But it's not all hard hitting life truths one of his most popular songs is called 'The great escape'. It's catchy with a pop vibe and is relatable to anyone who has ever had a touch of wanderlust.

Now for the magnaminty part. The only link between Mike Dignam and a lush product is that I saw both for the first time in the same day. Now the mask of magnaminty boasts that it is great for spot prone skin and contains as one would expect a heck of a lot of mint.  Now once upon a time I naively believed that once I had blossomed into adulthood spots would be no more!

That's not true.

So naturally I was excited to try another product that could help banish my blemishes. Now I am not about to jump up and down and say that wiping this green minty paste onto my face only once gave me the skin of  a baby angel however I definitely felt a difference. My skin did feel noticeably softer and looked visibly brighter. Hopefully I will soon be able to update you all and tell you that it is a miracle product sent from the heavens down to us lowly mortals with oily skin.

I then proceeded to spend the rest of my day frolicking around the city centre with my friend looking at books, homeware and clothes alike. All in all a pretty great day.

Well, that's all for now guys - see you later~
