Cherry Scones - easy and delicious

I love baking. I love baking alot. Since going to uni, and having to be a somewhat competent cook, I have found experimenting with cooking so much fun. Sometimes I use recipes and sometimes I just wing it which has yielded me varying shades of joy and disaster. Good or bad I find the act of cooking relaxing. Last year I decided I wanted to treat my mum to some home made scones. So off to the Internet I went and found a lot of recipes that just seemed ridiculously complicated. Also where on earth do you find buttermilk?? I tell my flatmate of my plight and her mum gifts me with perhaps the simplest scone recipe in the world. She didn't make this recipe herself I believe she got it from an old Mary Berry cook book. This recipe is so easy and I've made it so many times I know it pretty much by heart.
